"DAYS OF PEACE" by Ben Ish Chai deals with the coming of the Messiah, the Messianic era, the resurrection of the dead, and the world to come. It provides enlightenment on topics which are only vaguely understood by many.

"IMMORTALITY, RESURRECTION AND THE AGE OF THE UNIVERSE: A KABBALISTIC VIEW" by Aryeh Kaplan covers astrology, stars as angels, male and female, as well as the topics listed in the title.

"THE BEGINNINGS OF DESIRE, REFLECTIONS ON GENESIS", by Avivah Gottlieb Zorberg is a definitive discussion and analysis of the Book of Genesis.

"TALES OUT OF SHULE" by Rabbi Feldman (USA) is a book you won't want to put down. It provides interesting insights into the issues and challenges confronted by an orthodox communal rabbi with a great sense of humour.

"THE GATES OF HEAVEN": Chronicles of the Slepak family" is by well-known author, Chaim Potok. It is an epic work of non-fiction relating the stormy lives of a Jewish father and son whose stories span the entire history of the Soviet Union.

"THIS IS THE TORAH" by Alfred J. Kolatch is a splendid reference book. It poses and answers many questions about the Torah. It is easy to read and has an excellent index.
